Engineer

Akkodis is seeking an Engineer for a Contract with a client in Blue Ash, OH. The ideal candidate will support and maintain Quality Management System processes while ensuring compliance with medical device regulations and standards.

Rate Range: $34/hour to $43/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Engineer Job Responsibilities include:

• Support and maintain Quality Management System (QMS) processes in compliance with medical device regulations.

• Drive complaint handling, CAPA, non-conformance, and post-market surveillance activities.

• Perform and review risk assessments (FMEA, ISO 14971) to ensure product and process safety.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality and regulatory compliance across projects.

• Support internal and external audits, ensuring timely resolution of findings and action items.

• Manage multiple quality deliverables while meeting project timelines and regulatory standards.

 

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Life Sciences, Quality, or a related field.

• 4–6 years of experience in Quality Assurance/Regulatory Affairs within the medical device industry.

• Strong expertise in medical device regulations, QMS, and risk management processes (ISO 14971, FMEA, CAPA).

• Proven experience in audit support, complaint handling, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure regulatory compliance.

Pay Details: $34.00 to $43.00 per hour
