Your Role

Akkodis is seeking an Engineering Lab Tech for a contract position in Louisville, Kentucky. This role will be part of a team primarily conduct Performance and Energy testing.

 

Pay Range: $25.00 to $26.00 per hour on W2; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

 

Engineering Lab Tech job responsibilities include:

  • Execute test plans per engineering requirements.

  • Set up test units and start data acquisition.

  • Monitor key noise parameters.

  • Document test results.

  • Move engineering samples between the test area, preparation area, and storage area.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Associates Degree (technical) or military equivalent; 2 years experience

  • Thorough understanding of test equipment

  • Ability to work with minimum supervision

  • Attention to detail and time management skills

  • Knowledgeable of multiple test procedures

  • Proficient with Microsoft office products

  • Strong understanding of products (operation and failure modes)

  • Physical ability to move large appliances
