Akkodis is seeking an Engineering Technician for a Contract with a client in Tempe, AZ. The ideal candidate will support development and certification of complex actuation products by executing environmental, functional, and qualification testing in a regulated laboratory setting.
NOTE: 1st shift: 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM and 2nd shift: 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM
Rate Range: $30/hour to $35/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Engineering Technician Job Responsibilities include:
Develop and execute environmental, functional, and qualification test procedures for actuation components.
Perform day‑to‑day testing, assembly, and validation activities in support of R&D and new product development.
Set up, operate, maintain, and fabricate test equipment and fixtures per lab work instructions.
Analyze test data, identify discrepancies, and document results in accordance with lab and regulatory standards.
Collaborate with Mechanical Test Lab personnel to complete testing tasks and support certification efforts.
Participate in process improvement initiatives, ensuring safety, quality, and FAA compliance throughout test operations.
Required Qualifications:
High school diploma required; technical training or coursework in mechanical, aerospace, or related fields preferred.
Minimum 2+ years of hands‑on experience in actuation and pneumatic valve testing.
Proven experience performing functional, environmental, or qualification testing on actuation, hydraulic, or pneumatic systems.
Strong ability to interpret test data, follow lab procedures, and support compliance with FAA or similar regulatory standards.

Pay Details: $30.00 to $35.00 per hour
