Functional Consultant

Akkodis is seeking a Functional Consultant for a Contract with a client in Raritan, NJ. The ideal candidate must have strong expertise in SAP PI/PO to develop interfaces, perform message mapping, and ensure seamless data flow and system stability.

Rate Range: $56/hour to $63/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Functional Consultant Job Responsibilities include:

• Design, develop, and implement integration solutions using SAP PI/PO across complex system landscapes.

• Build and enhance interfaces using IDoc, RFC, Proxy, SOAP, and REST-based technologies.

• Perform message mapping using graphical, XSLT, and Java-based techniques.

• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize integration flows to ensure system stability and performance.

• Collaborate with business and technical teams to gather requirements and validate integration scenarios.

• Support testing activities, including integration testing, cutover planning, and post-deployment stabilization.

 

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master’s preferred).

• 8–10 years of experience in SAP PI/PO development and enterprise integration projects.

• Strong hands-on expertise in SAP PI/PO (7.3/7.5+) with experience in interface development, message mapping, and middleware architecture.

• Proven experience in designing and supporting complex integrations (IDoc, SOAP, REST) with strong troubleshooting, performance tuning, and system integration skills.

Pay Details: $56.00 to $63.00 per hour
