Global Project Manager

Akkodis is seeking a Global Project Manager for a Contract job with a client in St. Petersburg, FL. The ideal candidate must have strong experience managing global software and AI-driven development projects, along with proven expertise in coordinating cross-functional teams across time zones.

Rate Range: $60/hour to $70/hour (W2); The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Global Project Manager job responsibilities include:

• Lead and manage a global AI/software development project, coordinating efforts.

• Oversee the development and deployment of the Quoteland AI platform, integrating legacy systems and modern AI capabilities.

• Drive project planning, execution, and delivery, ensuring milestones, timelines, and budgets are met.

• Facilitate collaboration across global teams, addressing communication gaps and ensuring alignment across regions.

• Support IT change management processes, ensuring smooth transitions and adoption of new systems.

• Coordinate with engineering, product, and business teams to ensure requirements, deliverables, and outcomes are aligned.

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.

• 5–8 years of experience in global project management, preferably in AI or software development environments.

• Experience delivering AI-driven or data-centric applications in enterprise settings.

• Strong background in cross-functional and distributed team collaboration across global regions.

• Experience with IT change management processes.

• Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

• Ability to manage ambiguity and drive execution in fast-moving, high-visibility initiatives.

Pay Details: $60.00 to $70.00 per hour
