Guidewire Technical Lead

Akkodis is seeking a Guidewire Technical Lead for a Contract with a client in San Antonio, TX. The ideal candidate is responsible for leading end-to-end design, configuration, integrations, and cloud-based delivery of scalable P&C insurance solutions.

Rate Range: $45/hour to $53/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Guidewire Technical Lead Job Responsibilities include:

• Lead the design, configuration, and development of Guidewire PolicyCenter solutions, including Gosu, PCFs, business rules, data models, and integrations.

• Provide hands-on technical leadership for full lifecycle PolicyCenter implementations and SaaS migrations for Tier 1 P&C insurers.

• Design and implement REST/SOAP integrations, message queues, batch processes, and connectivity with external portals and digital platforms.

• Collaborate with architecture, DevOps, and cloud teams to support Guidewire Cloud deployments using CI/CD practices on AWS/Azure.

• Mentor and guide development teams through code reviews, design decisions, and adherence to Guidewire best practices and standards.

• Work closely with business stakeholders using Agile/Scrum methodologies to ensure high-quality, scalable, and compliant P&C insurance solutions.

 

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.

• 6–8 years of hands-on Guidewire experience, including full lifecycle implementations.

• ACE-certified Guidewire PolicyCenter Configuration expert with proven experience delivering at least two end-to-end PolicyCenter implementations for Tier 1 P&C insurers, including SaaS deployment or migration.

• Strong expertise in Gosu, PCF, integrations (REST/SOAP), Guidewire Cloud, and CI/CD practices, with solid P&C insurance domain knowledge and technical leadership capability.

Pay Details: $45.00 to $53.00 per hour
