Incident Manager

Akkodis is seeking an Incident Manager for a Contract with a client in Bishops Gate, NJ/West Chester, PA. The ideal candidate with proven expertise in SRE, operations engineering, and enterprise‑scale reliability management.

Rate Range: $40/hour to $41/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Incident Manager Job Responsibilities include:

• Provide technical leadership during enterprise‑wide, high‑severity incidents, ensuring rapid stabilization and service restoration.

• Drive end‑to‑end incident resolution by coordinating cross‑functional teams through outages, problem investigations, and high‑risk change events.

• Enhance reliability and operational resilience by defining incident governance, standards, and reliability architecture across distributed platforms.

• Develop and execute automated scripts and queries using ELK, Grafana, AppDynamics, and COP for real‑time monitoring and issue detection.

• Enrich alerts and incidents with contextual intelligence, including metrics, logs, anomaly trends, and service impact analysis.

• Communicate incident status, risks, and remediation strategies clearly to executive leadership and key stakeholders.

 

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.

• 8–12+ years of experience in Incident Management, SRE, or Operations Engineering roles within large‑scale enterprise environments.

• Proven expertise in leading high‑severity incident response, reliability architecture, and operational governance across complex, distributed systems.

• Strong hands‑on experience with automation and observability tools (ELK, Grafana, AppDynamics, COP) along with the ability to deliver clear, executive‑level communication during critical incidents.

Pay Details: $40.00 to $41.00 per hour
