Infrastructure Consultant

Akkodis is seeking an Infrastructure Consultant for a Contract with a client in New York City, NY (Hybrid). The ideal candidate is responsible for designing and implementing multi-cloud architectures across AWS and OCI while ensuring secure networking, data pipelines, and high-availability solutions.

Rate Range: $68/hour to $71/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Infrastructure Consultant Job Responsibilities include:

• Design and implement multi-cloud architectures integrating AWS and OCI with secure, high-performance connectivity.

• Configure and manage cloud networking components including VPC, VCN, subnets, gateways, and security controls.

• Build and optimize data pipelines for large-scale data movement across OCI, AWS, and Snowflake environments.

• Automate infrastructure provisioning and deployments using Terraform, scripting, and CI/CD practices.

• Monitor system performance, implement logging/alerting, and ensure high availability, backup, and disaster recovery strategies.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues, optimize performance, and ensure secure cloud operations.

 

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Cloud Computing, or a related field.

• 8–10 years of experience in cloud infrastructure, with strong exposure to AWS and OCI environments.

• Deep hands-on expertise in AWS and OCI core services, including networking, IAM, storage, and multi-cloud architecture design.

• Proven experience in building data pipelines, automating infrastructure using Terraform/scripting, and implementing secure, high-availability cloud solutions.

Pay Details: $68.00 to $71.00 per hour
