Java and Python Developer

Akkodis is seeking a Java and Python Developer for a Contract with a client in Sunrise, FL. This The role will design and develop scalable APIs, microservices, and ETL solutions using Java and Python to support real‑time analytics and data‑driven platforms.

Rate Range: $45/hour to $47/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Java and Python Developer Job Responsibilities include:

• Design and develop scalable APIs, services, and ETL applications using Java and Python.

• Build and maintain microservices‑based architectures for real‑time analytics and reporting solutions.

• Design and optimize relational databases using SQL, Oracle, MySQL, and other data sources.

• Implement and support CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and monitoring/logging solutions.

• Develop and maintain asynchronous, distributed architectures for high‑performance workflows.

• Write unit and integration tests to ensure code quality, reliability, and maintainability.

 

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related technical field.

• 5+ years of experience in Java and Python application development.

• Strong hands‑on experience with Java 8+, Spring Boot, Python, and microservices architecture.

• Proven experience building APIs, ETL pipelines, and CI/CD‑enabled, containerized applications in Agile environments.

Pay Details: $45.00 to $47.00 per hour
