Java GCP Developer with Bigdata

Akkodis is seeking a Java GCP Developer with Bigdata for a Contract with a client in Alpharetta, GA. The ideal candidate will design and develop scalable Java-based microservices and big data solutions on GCP while supporting cloud transformation and batch data processing platforms.

Rate Range: $50/hour to $53/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Java GCP Developer with Bigdata Job Responsibilities include:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java-based microservices and applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

• Build and manage big data processing pipelines using Hadoop, Spark, Dataflow, and DataProc.

• Implement and optimize CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices for efficient application deployment.

• Collaborate with architects and cross-functional teams to support cloud transformation and enterprise architecture initiatives.

• Ensure application security, performance, and reliability through best practices, monitoring, and optimization.

• Develop and maintain batch processing systems and large-scale data aggregation solutions.

 

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field required.

• 8–10 years of experience in Java development, cloud technologies, and big data ecosystems.

• Strong expertise in Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, Microservices, and GCP services (Dataflow, DataProc, Pub/Sub).

• Proven experience with Big Data technologies (Hadoop/Spark), CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-based batch processing systems.

Pay Details: $50.00 to $53.00 per hour
