Lead

Akkodis is seeking a Lead for a Contract with a client in Naperville, IL. The ideal candidate is responsible for overseeing end-to-end QA activities, defining test strategies, metrics, and ensuring high‑quality delivery for banking applications, including peripheral testing.

Rate Range: $41/hour to $44/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Lead Job Responsibilities include:

• Lead and manage end-to-end testing activities for banking applications, ensuring coverage of peripheral and Branch-related testing.

• Define test strategies, goals, and measurement plans aligned with business objectives and SDLC methodologies (Agile/Waterfall).

• Oversee functional, system, and integration testing while ensuring adherence to industry QA standards and best practices.

• Manage defect tracking, test execution, and reporting using tools such as HP ALM/Quality Center, JIRA, and Confluence.

• Compile, analyze, and present test metrics and quality reports to stakeholders to support decision-making.

• Collaborate with development and business teams to perform system analysis, troubleshoot issues, and ensure timely, high-quality releases.

 

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.

• 4–6 years of overall testing experience, including a minimum of 3 years as a Test Lead in banking projects.

• Strong experience in Banking or Financial Services domain with mandatory exposure to peripheral testing and knowledge of Branch applications.

• Proven expertise in QA and testing tools such as HP ALM/Quality Center, JIRA, Confluence, and automated testing utilities, with solid understanding of SDLC, Agile/Waterfall methodologies, and testing metrics.

Pay Details: $41.00 to $44.00 per hour
