Manager, Learning & Capability Building

Akkodis is seeking a Manager, Learning & Capability Building for a Contract job with a client in Chicago, IL. The ideal candidate must have strong hands‑on experience building and delivering end‑to‑end learning programs, with the ability to translate brand strategy and development standards into practical, engaging learning experiences.

Rate Range: $60/hour to $65/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Manager, Learning & Capability Building job responsibilities include:

• Own the end‑to‑end execution of the Brand Immersion training program, including new module creation, rollout, and continuous improvement.

• Build and deliver comprehensive learning experiences, defining content structure, learning flow, and interactive elements.

• Translate brand pillars and development standards into clear, practical learning tailored for developers.

• Create, refine, and maintain learning content, including copywriting, module structure, and interactive components.

• Partner with design teams to transform learning content into visually effective and engaging materials.

• Manage stakeholders, timelines, and priorities across a matrixed organization.

• Measure learning effectiveness, gather feedback, and iterate programs rapidly.

• Leverage AI and modern tools to accelerate content development and learning delivery.

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Education, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience (non‑traditional backgrounds welcome).

• 5+ years of experience in Learning & Development, Sales Enablement, or Program Management.

• Proven experience executing programs end‑to‑end in fast‑paced environments.

• Strong ability to translate abstract concepts into practical, usable learning outputs.

• Preferred:

  • Experience supporting sales enablement or commercial training initiatives

  • Experience designing blended learning solutions

  • Familiarity with LMS/LXP platforms and learning ecosystems

  • Experience using data to evaluate and optimize learning effectiveness

  • Familiarity with modern content tools (e.g., Articulate, Synthesia, Canva)

Pay Details: $60.00 to $65.00 per hour
