MacOS QA

Akkodis is seeking a MacOS QA for a Contract with a client in Austin, TX. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing automated test frameworks for web-based workflows and browser testing across macOS environments.

Rate Range: $56/hour to $58/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

MacOS QA Job Responsibilities include:

• Develop and maintain automation frameworks for macOS and web-based applications using Python, Swift, and Selenium.

• Design and execute automated test cases for browser-based workflows across Chrome, Safari, and Firefox.

• Break down complex workflows into smaller, manageable automation scripts to ensure comprehensive test coverage.

• Analyze test results, report defects, and collaborate with development teams for timely issue resolution.

• Improve and maintain test reporting systems and automation processes for efficiency and reliability.

• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality, performance, and seamless user experience.

 

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.

• 5–8 years of experience in QA automation or software testing, preferably on macOS platforms.

• Strong hands-on experience with automation tools and languages such as Python, Swift, Selenium, and XCTest for web and browser-based testing.

• Proven ability to design automation frameworks, break down complex workflows into test cases, and ensure quality across multiple browsers and platforms.

Pay Details: $56.00 to $58.00 per hour
