Your Role

Akkodis is seeking a Materials Analyst for a Contract with a client in Clearwater, FL. The ideal candidate will optimize materials planning and inventory management to ensure uninterrupted manufacturing and on‑time delivery.

Rate Range: $30/hour to $33/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Materials Analyst Job Responsibilities include:

  • Analyze material inventory levels, shortages, and supply risks to support uninterrupted manufacturing operations.

  • Investigate and resolve material issues caused by supply disruptions, inventory inaccuracies, or demand changes.

  • Monitor shortage reports, open demand, and past‑due materials to proactively manage risks.

  • Coordinate daily with Procurement, Operations, Engineering, Quality, and Planning teams to resolve material constraints.

  • Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and trackers using SAP, Excel, Access, and Power BI to improve material visibility.

  • Escalate critical shortages with clear communication, recommended actions, and a strong sense of urgency to support shop performance and customer satisfaction.

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Business, Operations Management, or a related field (2‑year degree considered).

  • 3+ years of experience in materials planning, manufacturing planning, or supply chain operations.

  • Strong hands-on experience with SAP/MRP systems and advanced proficiency in Excel, Access, SQL, and Power BI.

  • Proven ability to manage material shortages, analyze inventory risks, and coordinate effectively with cross‑functional teams in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.

Pay Details: $30.00 to $33.00 per hour
