Network Administrator

Akkodis is seeking a Network Administrator for a Contract with a client in San Antonio, TX (Remote). The ideal candidate is responsible for managing and supporting enterprise network infrastructure, including deployments, configurations, and troubleshooting across LAN/WAN and cloud security environments.

Rate Range: $44/hour to $45/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Network Administrator Job Responsibilities include:

• Lead network deployments, upgrades, and expansions, managing the full lifecycle from procurement to implementation and documentation.

• Configure and maintain LAN/WAN, wireless, and SD-WAN environments using Cisco Meraki and Catalyst technologies.

• Support and maintain Zscaler (ZIA/ZPA) cloud security services, ensuring secure network access and compliance.

• Troubleshoot complex network issues across all OSI layers, coordinating with ISPs and internal teams for resolution.

• Collaborate with IT and cybersecurity teams to enforce network security, patching, and infrastructure hardening.

• Drive process improvements by enhancing documentation, automation, and monitoring to improve network performance and uptime.

 

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• 4–6 years of experience in network administration or infrastructure support roles.

• Strong hands-on expertise in Cisco Meraki, LAN/WAN routing & switching, and Zscaler cloud security solutions.

• Proven ability to manage network deployments, troubleshoot complex issues across OSI layers, and ensure secure, high-availability network operations.

Pay Details: $44.00 to $45.00 per hour
