Network DevOps Developer

Akkodis is seeking a Network DevOps Developer for a Contract with a client in New York, NY. This role drives the development and automation of cloud-based network infrastructure to ensure scalable and secure operations.

Rate Range: $44/hour to $45/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Network DevOps Developer Job Responsibilities include:

• Design, implement, and maintain cloud-based network infrastructure across Azure and AWS environments.

• Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines to support automated network deployments and updates.

• Utilize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and Ansible for network automation.

• Configure and support network technologies including SD-WAN, routing/switching, VPNs, DNS, and load balancers.

• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize network performance, security, and reliability.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive DevOps best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.

 

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• 10+ years of experience in network engineering, cloud networking, or DevOps.

• Strong expertise in Azure and AWS cloud networking, including SD-WAN, VPNs, DNS, and load balancing (F5), along with routing and switching.

• Hands-on experience with automation and DevOps tools such as Terraform, Ansible, CI/CD pipelines, and scripting (PowerShell) for infrastructure as code and network automation.

Pay Details: $44.00 to $45.00 per hour
