Performance Tester

Akkodis is seeking a Performance Tester for a Contract with a client in Phoenix, AZ. The ideal candidate will design and execute comprehensive performance testing to validate system scalability, reliability, and stability under real‑world loads.

Rate Range: $37/hour to $45/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Performance Tester Job Responsibilities include:

• Design and execute performance, load, stress, soak, and scalability tests for web, API, and distributed systems.

• Create performance test plans, scenarios, scripts, and detailed analysis reports using tools like JMeter.

• Analyze application behavior under peak and normal loads to identify performance bottlenecks.

• Monitor system metrics such as response time, throughput, CPU, memory, and error rates.

• Collaborate with development, QA, and DevOps teams to recommend tuning and optimization improvements.

• Re‑test and validate fixes after performance enhancements and support performance testing in CI/CD pipelines.

 

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field.

• 6–8 years of experience in performance testing and analysis.

• Strong hands‑on experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter (or similar) and executing load, stress, endurance, and scalability tests.

• Proven ability to analyze system metrics, identify performance bottlenecks across application, database, and infrastructure layers, and recommend optimization strategies.

Pay Details: $37.00 to $45.00 per hour
