Product Architect

Akkodis is seeking a Product Architect for a Contract with a client in Reston, VA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for responsible for owning and evolving end-to-end Sales and Marketing domain architecture to ensure scalable, reliable, and business-aligned solutions.

Rate Range: $64/hour to $68/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Product Architect Job Responsibilities include:

• Own and continuously evolve the end‑to‑end Sales and Marketing domain architecture, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards, business strategy, and long‑term scalability.

• Architect and guide large‑scale, cloud‑native solutions using microservices, API‑first, and event‑driven designs to support high‑volume, business‑critical workflows.

• Apply deep functional and system understanding of Sales, Marketing, CRM, and BSS platforms to design efficient solutions while minimizing customization and technical complexity.

• Collaborate closely with product managers, engineering teams, and peer architects to translate business requirements into pragmatic architectural decisions and technology roadmaps.

• Define and enforce architectural principles, standards, and reference patterns to drive consistency, reuse, security, and operational excellence across teams.

• Serve as a trusted technical advisor and mentor, influencing stakeholders and helping teams balance innovation, cost, performance, and maintainability.

 

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline.

• 12–14 years of overall IT experience, including solution/functional architecture, design, development, and support of enterprise systems.

• Strong experience architecting large‑scale, cloud‑native enterprise solutions using microservices, APIs, and event‑driven architectures, preferably within Sales, Marketing, CRM, or BSS domains.

• Deep functional understanding of end‑to‑end Sales and Marketing technology ecosystems, with the ability to align architectural decisions to business strategy while ensuring scalability, security, and reliability.

Pay Details: $64.00 to $68.00 per hour
