Product Owner

Akkodis is seeking a Product Owner for a Contract with a client in Frederick, MD. This role involves managing product backlogs, defining roadmaps, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable telephony and unified communication solutions aligned with business goals.

Rate Range: $45/hour to $49/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Product Owner Job Responsibilities include:

• Own and manage the product backlog for telephony platforms including VoIP, PBX, Teams Calling, and contact center solutions.

• Define product vision, roadmap, and priorities aligned with business and operational goals.

• Gather and translate business requirements into user stories and technical specifications.

• Collaborate with engineering, network, and operations teams to deliver scalable communication solutions.

• Ensure seamless integration with enterprise systems such as CRM, ticketing, and collaboration tools.

• Monitor product performance, drive continuous improvements, and manage stakeholder communication across business and IT teams.

 

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Telecommunications, Computer Science, or a related field.

• 7–12+ years of experience in telecom/IT, with at least 3+ years as a Product Owner or similar role.

• Strong expertise in telephony and unified communications, including VoIP, SIP, PBX, UCaaS, and contact center platforms (IVR, ACD).

• Proven experience in Agile product ownership, backlog management, and stakeholder engagement, with the ability to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.

Pay Details: $45.00 to $49.00 per hour
