Product Owner

Akkodis is seeking a Product Owner for a Contract with a client in Phoenix, AZ. This role involves managing product backlogs, defining user stories, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality features aligned with business goals and customer impact.

Rate Range: $49/hour to $51/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Product Owner Job Responsibilities include:

• Define and manage the product roadmap aligned with business goals such as engagement, conversion, and revenue growth.

• Own and prioritize the product backlog, including user stories, features, and enhancements based on business value and dependencies.

• Collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

• Lead Agile ceremonies and ensure timely delivery of high-quality product increments.

• Work closely with engineering teams to evaluate technical feasibility, APIs, and system design decisions.

• Prepare product updates, presentations, and reports while influencing stakeholders and driving product strategy.

 

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (MBA preferred).

• 5–7+ years of experience as a Product Owner or in Product Management roles.

• Strong experience with Agile methodologies, backlog management, and APIs (REST/SOAP) with exposure to Sabre/GDS systems and travel domain.

• Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and drive cross-functional product delivery.

Pay Details: $49.00 to $51.00 per hour
