Python Full-Stack Developer

Akkodis is seeking a Python Full-Stack Developer for a Contract with a client in Sunnyvale, CA/Austin, TX. The ideal candidate is responsible for migrating Oracle APEX applications to Flask/FastAPI, building server-rendered web applications, and designing RESTful APIs with robust data access layers.

Rate Range: $55/hour to $60/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Python Full-Stack Developer Job Responsibilities include:

• Migrate existing Oracle APEX applications to Flask or FastAPI while maintaining functionality and improving system architecture.

• Develop server-rendered web applications using Jinja2 for dashboards, forms, reports, and self-service portals.

• Write and optimize Oracle SQL and PL/SQL queries, and design efficient data access layers using python-oracledb or SQLAlchemy.

• Design and implement RESTful APIs for frontend integration and internal automation systems.

• Implement secure authentication and role-based access control using SSO and OAuth mechanisms.

• Create automated workflows and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support testing, deployment, and continuous delivery.

 

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• 5–8 years of experience in software development or backend engineering.

• Strong hands-on experience with Python (Flask/FastAPI) and Oracle SQL/PLSQL, including database optimization and API development.

• Proven expertise in building web applications with HTML/CSS/JavaScript, designing RESTful APIs, and working in Linux environments with CI/CD pipelines.

Pay Details: $55.00 to $60.00 per hour
