Quality/ Reliability Eng

Akkodis is seeking a Quality/ Reliability Eng for a Contract with a client in Dearborn, MI. The ideal candidate will lead cross-functional coordination, tracks supplier performance, and drives resolution of quality and launch readiness issues.

Rate Range: $40/hour to $45/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Quality/ Reliability Eng Job Responsibilities include:

• Lead supplier engagement activities, including identification of New Tooled End Items (NTEI) and coordination with cross-functional teams.

• Manage APQP/PPAP processes by tracking supplier readiness, ensuring timely submissions, and driving on-time PPAP approvals.

• Facilitate supplier selection processes and maintain program data within eAPQP systems, including updates and design changes.

• Drive resolution of supplier quality and launch issues through structured problem-solving, including AIMS tracking and 8D follow-up.

• Coordinate cross-functional meetings to address risks, manage action plans, and escalate critical supplier or program issues.

• Support program launches and builds events while ensuring industrialization readiness and compliance with quality standards.

 

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, or a related technical field.

• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing, supplier quality, or program management.

• Strong expertise in APQP/PPAP processes and supplier quality management with Six Sigma Green Belt certification preferred.

• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage supplier performance, and drive issue resolution in a fast-paced program environment.

Pay Details: $40.00 to $45.00 per hour
