SaaS Remediation Specialist

Akkodis is seeking a SaaS Remediation Specialist for a Contract with a client in Raritan, NJ (Remote). The ideal candidate is providing expert cloud security advisory and risk‑based remediation guidance across enterprise SaaS environments.

Rate Range: $70/hour to $75/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

SaaS Remediation Specialist Job Responsibilities include:

• Act as the primary liaison between IT/IS teams, business owners, Group IT/IS, and SaaS vendors to drive security remediation efforts.

• Evaluate SaaS products against cloud security standards and policies, validating control applicability and defining clear remediation approaches.

• Coordinate, track, and govern remediation implementation activities through completion, including contract‑based and configuration‑based recommendations.

• Review vendor security artifacts (SOC 2, CSA STAR, architecture diagrams, workflows) and assess alignment with enterprise security frameworks.

• Collect, validate, and document remediation evidence, architecture artifacts, and supporting documentation for audit and approval.

• Submit completed remediation items to governance groups and support follow‑up clarifications to ensure timely security approval.

 

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Security, Cybersecurity, or a related technical field.

• 6–10 years of experience in cloud security, SaaS security assessments, or security remediation roles.

• Strong hands‑on knowledge of cloud security concepts in AWS and Azure, with CCSK, CCSP, or equivalent cloud security certifications preferred.

• Proven ability to perform SaaS vendor security evaluations, review compliance artifacts (SOC 2, CSA STAR), and deliver clear, risk‑based remediation recommendations aligned with enterprise security policies.

Pay Details: $70.00 to $75.00 per hour
