SaaS Security Posture Management Engineer

Akkodis is seeking a SaaS Security Posture Management Engineer for a Contract with a client in Phoenix, AZ. The ideal candidate will design and manage SaaS Security Posture Management solutions to enable data discovery, classification, and enforcement of security policies across enterprise environments.

Rate Range: $37/Hour to $38/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

SaaS Security Posture Management Engineer Job Responsibilities include:

• Implement and manage DSPM solutions to enable data discovery, classification, and enforcement of security policies across on-prem and cloud environments.

• Integrate data sources and security tools (SIEM, CMDB, data catalogs) using APIs and modern integration patterns.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues, optimize configurations, and maintain secure data operations.

• Monitor system health, resolve incidents, and ensure performance, stability, and coverage of DSPM tools.

• Support governance and compliance by applying data classification standards (PII, PCI) and security frameworks.

• Contribute to continuous improvement by enhancing integrations, documenting processes, and scaling data security capabilities.

 

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.

• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, data security, or data engineering with a focus on DSPM/SSPM.

• Strong expertise in data discovery, classification, and modern data architectures (data lakes, warehouses) along with regulatory frameworks like PII/PCI.

• Hands-on experience with APIs, Python scripting, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) for integrating and managing enterprise security tools.

Pay Details: $37.00 to $38.00 per hour
