SAP Master Data Management & Architecture

Akkodis is seeking an experienced SAP Master Data Management & Architecture for a Contract position with a client in Seattle, WA. The consultant will support data governance initiatives, lead Explore‑phase activities, and contribute to future‑state solution delivery.

Rate Range: $95/hour to $100/hour on W2; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

SAP Master Data Management & Architecture job responsibilities include:

• Provide functional and technical expertise to plan, analyze, define, and support delivery of SAP MDG solutions for Material Master data.

• Support S/4HANA upgrade initiatives, specifically from S/4HANA 2021 to S/4HANA 2025, ensuring MDG compatibility and best practices.

• Lead and support the implementation of SAP MDG for Material Master and Finance Master Data, as applicable.

• Execute and facilitate Explore Phase workshops, capturing business requirements and defining future‑state MDG processes.

• Support data governance processes using SAP MDG, including workflows, validations, approvals, and compliance requirements.

• Conduct impact assessments related to business change requests, system upgrades, and data model updates.

• Develop, review, and validate estimates for client work requests related to SAP MDG initiatives.

• Collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders including Finance, Supply Chain, IT, and Data Governance teams.

• Support configuration, testing, and deployment activities associated with MDG enhancements and S/4HANA upgrades.

• Ensure alignment with enterprise data standards, governance frameworks, and SAP best practices.

Desired Qualifications:

• 5+ years of hands‑on experience working with SAP MDG, with strong focus on Material Master Data.

• Proven experience supporting S/4HANA upgrades, including MDG impact analysis and remediation.

• Experience executing Explore‑phase workshops and translating business requirements into SAP MDG solutions.

• SAP MDG Consultant – Material Master

• S/4HANA Upgrade Experience (2021 to 2025)

• SAP MDG configuration and data governance concepts

• Material Master and Finance Master Data processes

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in complex SAP landscapes

• Bachelor’s degree preferred (Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or related field).

Pay Details: $95.00 to $100.00 per hour
