Senior Cloud Integration Architect

Akkodis is seeking a Senior Cloud Integration Architect for a Contract with a client in Chicago, IL. The ideal candidate is responsible for defining platform-level data models, event-driven integration patterns, and designing Azure-based solutions for seamless system connectivity.

Rate Range: $55/hour to $60/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Senior Cloud Integration Architect Job Responsibilities include:

• Define and implement platform-level data, event, and integration models across distributed systems.

• Design and deliver Azure-based integration solutions, including ingestion, processing, and hybrid connectivity between cloud and on-prem systems.

• Develop and enforce event-driven architecture patterns using tools like Kafka, Azure Service Bus, and Event Hubs.

• Create detailed, governance-ready architecture documentation including design, security, connectivity, and disaster recovery.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on integration strategies and resolve technical gaps affecting delivery.

• Provide hands-on support in building services, troubleshooting issues, and validating end-to-end integrations.

 

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

• 10+ years of experience in architecture, integration design, and distributed systems implementation.

• Strong hands-on expertise in Azure services, event-driven architectures, and messaging platforms such as Kafka, Azure Service Bus, and Event Hubs.

• Proven ability to define integration patterns, data models, and produce implementation-ready, governance-compliant architecture documentation across hybrid environments.

Pay Details: $55.00 to $60.00 per hour
