Senior Developer

Akkodis is seeking a Senior Developer for a Contract with a client in San Antonio, TX. The ideal candidate will design and deliver advanced .NET solutions by building scalable microservices and AI‑driven architectures, including local RAG pipelines and vector search capabilities.

Rate Range: $45/hour to $49/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Senior Developer Job Responsibilities include:

• Architect, develop, and deploy scalable .NET microservices and AI‑driven solutions, including local RAG pipelines and semantic search.

• Design and maintain clean, high‑performance code using C#, ASP.NET Core, OOP, SOLID principles, and design patterns.

• Build and optimize relational and vector databases using PostgreSQL, pgvector, and Docker for secure data storage and retrieval.

• Integrate AI models and agents into existing enterprise systems, ensuring reliability and performance.

• Collaborate in Agile teams to drive CI/CD pipelines, code reviews, and continuous improvements.

• Troubleshoot complex system and SQL performance issues while mentoring team members on best practices and new technologies.

 

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.

• 8–10 years of experience in senior software development roles.

• Strong hands‑on expertise in C#, ASP.NET Core, .NET microservices, PostgreSQL (pgvector), and Docker, with solid OOP and SOLID principles.

• Proven experience designing and implementing AI‑driven architectures, including local RAG pipelines, vector search, and integration of AI agents within enterprise systems.

Pay Details: $45.00 to $49.00 per hour
