Service and Repair Technician I

Akkodis is seeking a Service and Repair Technician I for a Contract with a client in Charlotte, NC. This role will configure and deploy handheld mobility devices while supporting depot operations and continuous improvement initiatives.

Rate Range: $17.50/hour to $18.50/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Service and Repair Technician I Job Responsibilities include:

• Configure and deploy handheld mobility devices and related products for customer use.

• Support end‑to‑end HEM configuration and depot operations.

• Perform inspection, setup, and basic repair of mobility or assistive technology devices.

• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality, efficiency, and cost reduction.

• Collaborate effectively with team members while maintaining attention to detail and urgency.

• Provide flexible support across departments and work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays.

 

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (technical certification preferred).

• 3+ years of experience configuring and repairing mobility or related devices.

• Strong mechanical and technical skills with knowledge of assistive technology and device standards.

• Proven ability to work in a fast‑paced, team‑based environment with strong attention to detail and quality.

Pay Details: $17.50 to $18.50 per hour
