Akkodis is seeking a Service and Repair Technician I for a Contract with a client in Charlotte, NC. This role will configure and deploy handheld mobility devices while supporting depot operations and continuous improvement initiatives.
Rate Range: $17.50/hour to $18.50/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Service and Repair Technician I Job Responsibilities include:
Configure and deploy handheld mobility devices and related products for customer use.
Support end‑to‑end HEM configuration and depot operations.
Perform inspection, setup, and basic repair of mobility or assistive technology devices.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality, efficiency, and cost reduction.
Collaborate effectively with team members while maintaining attention to detail and urgency.
Provide flexible support across departments and work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Required Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (technical certification preferred).
3+ years of experience configuring and repairing mobility or related devices.
Strong mechanical and technical skills with knowledge of assistive technology and device standards.
Proven ability to work in a fast‑paced, team‑based environment with strong attention to detail and quality.

Pay Details: $17.50 to $18.50 per hour
