Service and Repair Technician I

Akkodis is seeking a Service and Repair Technician I for a Contract with a client in Clearwater, FL. This role supports hands-on assembly, maintenance, and testing of mechanical and electronic components to ensure proper functionality.

Rate Range: $17.50 /hour to $18.50 /hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Service and Repair Technician I Job Responsibilities include:

• Perform small electronic and mechanical assembly tasks, including constructing and testing components and equipment.

• Inspect, troubleshoot, and identify faulty parts, recommending replacements and assisting with ordering as needed.

• Operate basic tools and equipment to support assembly, maintenance, and testing activities.

• Follow standard procedures and work instructions to ensure quality and accuracy in all tasks.

• Maintain basic documentation and update records related to work performed and parts used.

• Support daily operations under supervision while contributing to continuous improvement and team objectives.

 

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or coursework in electronics/mechanical field preferred.

• 1–2 years of experience in small electronic assembly or related technical role.

• Hands-on experience with assembly, testing, and basic troubleshooting of electronic/mechanical components.

• Basic computer and technical skills with the ability to follow standard procedures and work effectively under general supervision.

Pay Details: $17.50 to $18.50 per hour
