ServiceNow Consumer/Service Portal Developer

Akkodis is seeking a ServiceNow Consumer/Service Portal Developer for a Contract with a client in Philadelphia, PA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, customizing, and delivering intuitive, high‑performance ServiceNow portals and widgets for ITSM, HRSD, and CSM use cases.

Rate Range: $44/Hour to $45/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

ServiceNow Consumer/Service Portal Developer Job Responsibilities include:

• Design, develop, and customize ServiceNow Service Portals, including pages, themes, layouts, and custom widgets.

• Build responsive UI components using JavaScript, AngularJS, HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap to deliver user-friendly experiences.

• Translate UX/UI designs and wireframes into functional ServiceNow portal components.

• Integrate ServiceNow portals with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs.

• Troubleshoot and optimize portal performance, accessibility, and responsiveness.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and support ServiceNow modules (ITSM, HRSD, CSM) while maintaining documentation and ATF tests.

 

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

• 8–10 years of experience in ServiceNow development with strong focus on Service Portal customization.

• Hands-on expertise in ServiceNow Service Portal development, including custom widgets, pages, themes, and integrations using JavaScript, AngularJS, HTML, and CSS.

• Proven experience integrating ServiceNow portals with ITSM/HRSD/CSM modules and external systems via REST/SOAP APIs, with strong UI/UX and performance optimization skills.

Pay Details: $44.00 to $45.00 per hour
