Your Role
Akkodis is seeking an Sr Advanced Mechanical Engineer for a Contract with a client in Rocky Mount, NC. This role will support yield improvement and overhaul repair development by researching technical and regulatory requirements and integrating approved solutions into repair documentation.
Rate Range: $55/hour to $60/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Sr Advanced Mechanical Engineer Job Responsibilities include:
Review and research technical requirements for repair development, including processes, procedures, and techniques.
Evaluate regulatory compliance requirements related to materials, tools, equipment, and facilities.
Support yield improvement initiatives by contributing to TAT reduction and First Pass Yield (FPY) improvements.
Develop and update repair processes, overhaul instructions, and technical inspection documentation.
Integrate approved solutions into technical publications, revisions, and change requests.
Provide technical oversight and support to suppliers and overhaul repair sites.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related engineering discipline.
4–6 years of relevant mechanical engineering experience.
Experience developing repair processes, technical instructions, and overhaul documentation in a regulated environment.
Proven ability to support yield improvement initiatives and provide technical oversight to suppliers or repair operations.

Pay Details: $55.00 to $60.00 per hour
