Sr Advanced Systems Engineer

Akkodis is seeking an Sr Advanced Systems Engineer for a Contract with a client in Phoenix, AZ. This role will lead systems and software requirements development, integration, and verification for next‑generation avionics display applications.

Rate Range: $57/hour to $61/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Sr Advanced Systems Engineer Job Responsibilities include:

• Develop, validate, integrate, and verify system and software requirements for avionics display applications.

• Design and implement ARINC 661 graphics for next‑generation avionics platforms (Scade preferred).

• Create and execute software test cases derived from system and software use cases.

• Support systems integration and verification activities across cross‑functional engineering teams.

• Ensure compliance with aerospace standards, best practices, and safety requirements.

• Contribute to documentation and continuous improvement of display system development processes.

 

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Systems, Software, Aerospace, or related field).

• 6–10 years of experience in systems or software engineering roles.

• Strong experience in systems/software requirements development, integration, and verification for complex systems.

• Hands‑on experience with ARINC 661 graphics development (Scade preferred) and software test case creation.

Pay Details: $57.00 to $60.00 per hour
