Sr Advanced Test Engineer

Akkodis is seeking a Sr Advanced Test Engineer for a Contract with a client in Phoenix, AZ. The candidate will plan and execute qualification tests while ensuring regulatory compliance and supporting product certification for avionics systems.

Rate Range: $60/hour to $65/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Sr Advanced Test Engineer Job Responsibilities include:

• Plan and execute environmental and EMI qualification tests for avionics products.

• Prepare detailed test reports to ensure compliance with regulatory standards (FAA, DO-160, MIL-STD).

• Support product certification processes and coordinate with regulatory bodies for approvals.

• Identify and communicate non-compliance issues and drive resolution with stakeholders.

• Utilize engineering tools and software to perform analysis, testing, and validation activities.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality and adherence to engineering standards.

 

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field.

• 6+ years of experience in hardware/product engineering, preferably in avionics.

• Strong experience in environmental and EMI testing for avionics products, including familiarity with standards like DO-160 and MIL-STD.

• Proven ability to support product certification processes and prepare compliance documentation for regulatory approvals such as FAA.

Pay Details: $60.00 to $65.00 per hour
