Sr Advanced Test Engineer

Akkodis is seeking a Sr Advanced Test Engineer for a Contract with a client in Torrance, CA (Hybrid). The ideal candidate is responsible for planning and executing system tests, analyzing results, and driving design improvements while coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure quality and performance standards.

Rate Range: $65/hour to $70/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Sr Advanced Test Engineer Job Responsibilities include:

• Design and support mechanical and test facility systems for pneumatic, hydraulic, and thermal applications.

• Plan, execute, and analyze system and component tests, ensuring accurate interpretation of results.

• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to define requirements and resolve design issues.

• Identify system performance gaps and recommend improvements to enhance reliability and quality.

• Manage project activities, track progress, and provide regular status updates to stakeholders.

• Contribute to quality standards, testing procedures, and reliability program development.

 

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field.

• Minimum 4+ years of experience in mechanical system design and test facility engineering.

• Proven experience in project engineering/project management and leading cross-functional technical efforts.

• Strong background in testing systems such as pneumatic, hydraulic, refrigeration, or turbomachinery components.

Pay Details: $65.00 to $70.00 per hour
