Your Role
Seasoned Sr. Application Development professional, developing research and analytics to support and contribute to the development of marketing strategies. Responsible for identifying opportunities of improvement to enhance Product Management performance.
Job Description
Plans, prioritizes, and manages solutions for field sales teams primarily focusing on air-cooled chillers.
Product manage large, visible projects from quote through to manufacturing completion
Creates training material and presents to sales force and customers in large capacity events
Manage and test the electronic catalog software for the sales force
Synthesizes analyses of data, uses the results to provide training and communications to the field
Performs competitive analysis for products of responsibility; communicates product competitive strategies appropriately to the field
Updates literature and marketing materials
Support pre-sale customer visits to the Carrier factories including meeting with customers and making presentations
Become an active member in ASHRAE and/or AHRI
Interprets specifications and discuss with sales personnel, vendors and Carrier engineering
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree
3+ years experience in Technical Sales, Product Management or Product Marketing
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelors Degree in an Engineering Discipline
Experience with one or more of the following applications is preferred; chilled water units, air side equipment, commercial heat pumps
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Working knowledge of Microsoft Suite
Excellent written and verbal interpersonal skills
HVAC industry experience, preferred
Other preferred industries are as follows: Compressed Air, Turbo Machinery, Industrial Machinery, Technical System Application Support
Have an ability to coordinate across multiple functions, to maintain composure in high-pressure situations, and to make decisions in a fast-paced environment
Have a combination of excellent technical skills, be a self-starter, with strong business understanding, strong self-direction, and excellent interpersonal/influencing skills to work across the Carrier organization and with customers
Have a personality defined by positivity, responsibility, integrity, accountability, and respect culminating in a strong work ethic
Pay Details: $110,000.00 to $130,000.00 per year
