Akkodis is seeking an Sr Engineering Technician for a Contract with a client in Clearwater, FL. This role performs hands-on testing, troubleshooting, and fault isolation of advanced electronic assemblies to ensure reliability and performance.
Rate Range: $26/hour to $28/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Sr Engineering Technician Job Responsibilities include:
Perform dynamic, thermal, and functional testing on advanced electronic assemblies to ensure compliance with acceptance criteria.
Set up, program, and operate specialized test equipment such as oscilloscopes, power supplies, and data acquisition tools.
Troubleshoot and isolate faults using schematics, test procedures, and technical expertise.
Execute system integration and environmental testing while maintaining detailed and accurate test logs.
Follow strict procedures, safety standards, and maintain lab equipment, cleanliness, and operational readiness.
Collaborate with engineers and technicians, communicate test results, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications:
Associate’s degree, technical degree, or equivalent military training/experience in electronics or a related field.
Minimum 4 years of experience in electronics testing or technical discipline.
Strong hands-on experience in electronic testing, troubleshooting, and use of general-purpose test equipment (oscilloscope, DMM, etc.).
Ability to read schematics, follow detailed procedures, perform environmental/functional testing, and produce accurate technical documentation with strong attention to detail.

Pay Details: $26.00 to $28.00 per hour
