System Administrator

Akkodis is seeking a System Administrator for a Contract with a client in Boston, TX. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing L2 troubleshooting for end-user devices, resolving issues across Windows, Mac, and mobile environments while ensuring system performance and compliance.

Rate Range: $31/hour to $34/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

System Administrator Job Responsibilities include:

• Provide L2 remote troubleshooting for desktops, laptops, and VDI environments, resolving hardware and software issues.

• Support Windows, macOS, and iOS systems, including application issues (MS Office, VPN, antivirus).

• Manage device enrollment, configuration, and compliance using MDM tools like JAMF and Intune.

• Perform patching, driver deployments, and system updates to maintain device performance and security.

• Monitor user experience, troubleshoot performance issues, and ensure system health compliance.

• Track, document, and resolve incidents using ticketing tools like ServiceNow, escalating when required.

 

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

• 2–4 years of experience in desktop support or IT infrastructure support roles.

• Hands-on experience in Windows 10/11, macOS, iOS support, and tools like Intune, JAMF, and ServiceNow for device and incident management.

• Strong troubleshooting skills in hardware, software, patching, and security compliance with the ability to manage end-user devices and resolve issues efficiently.

Pay Details: $31.00 to $34.00 per hour
