System Administrator

Akkodis is seeking a System Administrator for a Contract with a client in Naperville, IL. Responsible for installing and upgrading systems, applying patches and certificates, and monitoring performance to ensure stability and compliance.

Rate Range: $53/hour to $60/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

System Administrator Job Responsibilities include:

• Install, upgrade, and maintain Windows and Linux operating systems across server environments.

• Deploy and manage application installations, updates, and version control.

• Perform patch management and vulnerability remediation to ensure system security.

• Manage and update SSL certificates and ensure compliance with security policies.

• Monitor system performance including CPU, memory, disk usage, and application logs.

• Troubleshoot system issues and ensure high availability and reliability of infrastructure.

 

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• 6–8 years of experience in system administration across Windows and Linux environments.

• Strong hands-on experience in OS installation/upgrades, patch management, vulnerability remediation, and certificate management.

• Proven ability to monitor system performance, apply security policies, and troubleshoot infrastructure issues to ensure stability and compliance.

Pay Details: $53.00 to $60.00 per hour
