Tech Lead - Java & AWS

Akkodis is seeking a Tech Lead - Java & AWS for a Contract with a client in Malvern, PA. The ideal candidate will lead the design, development, and support of scalable Java and AWS-based applications while driving architecture improvements and ensuring high system performance.

Rate Range: $57/Hour to $61/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Tech Lead - Java & AWS Job Responsibilities include:

• Lead the design, development, and support of Java/J2EE applications using Spring Boot and microservices architecture.

• Architect and implement scalable solutions on AWS leveraging services like EC2, S3, Lambda, DynamoDB, and API integrations.

• Drive code quality, best practices, and perform code reviews while mentoring development teams.

• Manage Agile processes including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and task prioritization.

• Troubleshoot production issues, optimize application performance, and ensure system reliability and scalability.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end solutions and maintain CI/CD pipelines using DevOps tools.

 

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• 12+ years of hands-on experience in Java/J2EE development with strong exposure to AWS cloud technologies.

• Strong expertise in Spring Boot, microservices architecture, REST API development, and AWS services (EC2, Lambda, S3, DynamoDB).

• Proven experience in CI/CD, DevOps tools, performance optimization, and leading enterprise-scale application development and support.

Pay Details: $57.00 to $61.00 per hour
