Technical Project Manager

Akkodis is recruiting for a Technical Project Manager for an aerospace client in the Niskayuna, NY area. This is an Hybrid contract position with a pay rate of $70 an hour to $105 an hour depending on experience, education and location. Looking for a candidate with strong mechanical / electrical engineer who’s primary responsibility be project/program management for at least 2 to 5 projects.

• Mechanical or Electrical Engineering degree with 5 years experience in project management of a highly technical discipline

• Experience in the electrical systems domain in the Aerospace, Military, and/or Automotive markets and customers

• Provide project execution status summary reports and presentation to individual contributors, peers.

• Security clearance or ability to obtain a clearance-

• Controls technical experience

• Electric generator or motor design

• Hardware in the Loop (HIL) test experience- good at DSPACE, speedgoat from mathworks would be good, PLC’s

• CAD- Catia would be nice. Expeierence doing simulations with flex or simulik.

• Experience in Simulink and Mathworks tool suite

Pay Details: $70.00 to $105.00 per hour
