Technical Project Manager

Akkodis is seeking a Technical Project Manager for a Contract with a client in Philadelphia, PA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading end-to-end program planning, managing cross-functional dependencies, and ensuring timely delivery of complex telecom initiatives.

Rate Range: $45/hour to $49/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Technical Project Manager Job Responsibilities include:

• Develop and manage end-to-end project plans, ensuring alignment with business requirements and technical objectives.

• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to define scope, schedule tasks, and track project milestones and dependencies.

• Monitor project progress, analyze performance against plans, and ensure timely delivery of key deliverables.

• Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies while managing critical paths and escalation processes.

• Communicate project status, updates, and issues to stakeholders and leadership effectively.

• Utilize tools like Jira and Smartsheets to maintain documentation, track progress, and support Agile project execution.

 

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Information Technology, or a related field (master’s preferred).

• 10+ years of experience in technical project or program management, preferably in telecom or IT environments.

• Strong expertise in managing cross-functional programs, dependency tracking, and risk mitigation using Agile methodologies and tools like Jira and Smartsheets.

• Proven ability to lead complex telecom or enterprise technology projects, ensuring timely delivery through effective stakeholder communication and strategic planning.

Pay Details: $45.00 to $49.00 per hour
