Technician

Akkodis is seeking a Technician for a Contract with a client in Carlsbad, CA. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience in manufacturing processes to perform product assembly, execute testing and quality checks, and operate production equipment efficiently.

Rate Range: $30/hour to $34/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Technician Job Responsibilities include:

• Perform assembly of subcomponents and final products for silicon photonic modules following defined procedures.

• Execute testing and quality checks to ensure products meet functionality and customer specifications.

• Operate and maintain production equipment in a cleanroom environment adhering to SOPs.

• Troubleshoot equipment, process, and product issues to ensure smooth production flow.

• Monitor production processes and report deviations to engineering teams for corrective action.

• Prepare materials and support production workflows to maintain efficiency and quality standards.

 

Required Qualifications:

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in electrical, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.

• 6–8 years of experience in manufacturing, assembly, or testing within cleanroom or high-tech environments.

• Hands-on experience in cleanroom manufacturing processes, including assembly, testing, and operation of production equipment with strict adherence to SOPs.

• Proven ability to perform troubleshooting, quality inspection, and process monitoring while maintaining high standards of product quality and compliance.

Pay Details: $30.00 to $34.00 per hour
