UCCE Engineer - Tier 2

Akkodis is seeking an UCCE Engineer - Tier 2 for a Contract with a client in RTP, NC. The ideal candidate will provide advanced Tier 2 support for Cisco UCCE environments, troubleshooting complex call routing, CTI integrations, and maintaining high system performance and availability.

Rate Range: $30/Hour to $37/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

UCCE Engineer - Tier 2 Job Responsibilities include:

• Provide Tier 2 support for Cisco UCCE systems, troubleshooting complex issues related to call routing, CTI integrations, and multi-channel contact center operations.

• Monitor, maintain, and optimize core UCCE components including Call Router, Logger, Peripheral Gateway (PG), and Administration Servers.

• Support integration and configuration of Cisco CVP, Finesse, and Unified Communications Manager within contact center environments.

• Perform system health checks, performance tuning, and ensure high availability and fault tolerance across deployments.

• Collaborate with Tier 1 support, network, and application teams to resolve escalated issues and support deployment, upgrades, and patching.

• Utilize diagnostic tools and logs to analyze issues and maintain documentation of configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.

 

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

• 8–10 years of hands-on experience with Cisco UCCE and contact center technologies.

• Strong expertise in Cisco UCCE architecture, including troubleshooting call flows, CTI integrations, and managing multi-site deployments.

• Proficiency in Cisco CVP, Finesse, CUCM, and knowledge of SIP, VXML, and diagnostic tools for advanced issue resolution.

Pay Details: $30.00 to $37.00 per hour
