Unit design Validation and RF Engineer

Akkodis is seeking a Unit design Validation and RF Engineer for a Contract with a client in Dallas, TX. The ideal candidate is responsible for designing, simulating, and validating RF/microwave subsystems such as transmitters, receivers, power amplifiers, and antennas through prototyping and testing.

Rate Range: $40/hour to $45/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Unit design Validation and RF Engineer Job Responsibilities include:

• Design and validate RF/microwave units including transmitters, receivers, power amplifiers, RF synthesizers, and antennas.

• Perform RF circuit design, analysis, and optimization using EM simulation tools such as ADS, CST, and HFSS.

• Support hardware prototyping and hands-on testing to verify design performance against specifications.

• Participate in design and validation reviews, providing technical inputs and recommendations.

• Analyze test results and RF performance data using MATLAB and Python.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve design issues and support end-to-end unit validation.

 

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or physics with specialization in RF/Microwave technology.

• 6–8 years of professional experience in RF design, validation, or related engineering roles.

• Strong hands-on expertise in RF circuit design for transmitters, receivers, power amplifiers, RF synthesizers, and antennas.

• Proficiency with RF/EM simulation tools (ADS, CST, HFSS) and analytical platforms such as MATLAB and Python, with experience supporting design reviews, prototyping, and hardware testing.

Pay Details: $40.00 to $45.00 per hour
