Validation Engineer

Akkodis is seeking a Validation Engineer for a Contract with a client in San Diego, CA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for authoring and executing validation documentation, investigations, and protocols to ensure regulatory compliance.

Rate Range: $36/Hour to $38/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Validation Engineer Job Responsibilities include:

• Author, review, and execute validation documentation including IQ, OQ, PQ, PV, protocols, reports, deviations, and CAPAs.

• Perform equipment, facility, process, and computer system validations in compliance with FDA and ISO standards.

• Conduct risk assessments, gap analyses, and investigations to support validation activities.

• Execute validation protocols (FAT/SAT/IQ/OQ/PQ) and analyze data, resolving deviations and discrepancies.

• Support audits, change control, and maintenance of validation metrics and master validation plans.

• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to drive continuous improvement and ensure quality system compliance.

 

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Biology, Chemistry, or a related science field.

• 5+ years of experience in medical device validation or regulated industry environments.

• Strong hands‑on experience executing and documenting IQ/OQ/PQ, process validation, and computerized system validation.

• In‑depth knowledge of FDA regulations, ISO 13485, cGMP, and Good Documentation Practices (GDP).

Pay Details: $36.00 to $38.00 per hour
