XSIAM Platform Operations Engineer

Akkodis is seeking an XSIAM Platform Operations Engineer for a Contract with a client in Cleveland, OH/ Cincinnati, OH/ Edison, NJ. The ideal candidate is responsible for managing platform health, integrations, and operational reliability across XSIAM/XDR environments.

Rate Range: $47/Hour to $49/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

XSIAM Platform Operations Engineer Job Responsibilities include:

• Monitor and maintain the health of XSIAM/XDR platforms, ensuring system stability and operational efficiency.

• Integrate and manage telemetry data from endpoints to support effective threat detection and response.

• Develop and maintain automation processes to improve reliability and reduce manual operational effort.

• Perform content updates, including rules, signatures, and security configurations within the platform.

• Manage access governance, ensuring proper role-based access control and compliance with security policies.

• Generate and analyze operational metrics and reports to support risk management and continuous improvement.

 

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Cyber Security, Information Technology, or a related field.

• 8–10 years of experience in security operations, platform engineering, or cyber security domains.

• Strong hands-on experience with Palo Alto Cortex XSIAM, XSOAR, or XDR platforms, including monitoring and platform operations.

• Experience in operational risk management, automation reliability, and managing security telemetry, access governance, and reporting.

Pay Details: $47.00 to $49.00 per hour
