The Opportunity

 

Our client is seeking an experienced Systems and Insights Specialist to act as the dedicated data analyst and business systems specialist aligned to the People and Safety Optimisation function.

 

The Role

You will lead the development, maintenance and enhancement of people and safety analytics, while building deep expertise in the business systems used by the function.

Acting as a conduit between the business and technology teams, you will help optimise systems (including ServiceNow HRSD), improve data integrity, and enable better outcomes through insight‑driven decision‑making.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a people analytics and reporting framework
• Analyse workforce and safety data to identify trends, risks and opportunities
• Build high‑value dashboards and reports using BI platforms
• Deliver high‑quality ad hoc reporting and scalable reporting solutions
• Apply data governance and privacy principles to people data
• Maintain deep understanding of people‑related business systems
• Partner with technology teams to design and implement system enhancements
• Perform data querying, testing and analysis to support reporting and initiatives

 

What You’ll Need

 

Essential

• Tertiary qualifications in ICT, Data Science, or equivalent experience
• Strong technical capability in enterprise systems (ERP/CRM)
• Coding skills to support data analysis and process mapping (BPMN/UML)
• Working knowledge of HR concepts and systems
• Strong analytical thinking and ability to communicate insights to non‑technical stakeholders
