    What we need from you / What our client requires

    ·      Strong experience working with HRIS systems

    ·      Advanced SQL skills with hands-on technical capability

    ·      Proven experience in data analysis, data migration, and ETL processes

    ·      Exposure to HCM/Payroll platforms (e.g. SAP, Workday, Aurion, Kronos) is highly desirable

     

     

    We are seeking an experienced Data Analyst to join a government client supporting the delivery of a major HR and Payroll transformation initiative. You will work closely with technical leads, project managers, business stakeholders, and vendors to ensure data readiness across testing, cutover, and Go Live phases.

     

    This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a high-impact public sector program, helping modernise HR and Payroll systems and improve data quality, governance, and operational efficiency.

     

     

    Key Requirements

    ·      Lead data profiling, cleansing and validation activities with relevant business units across legacy and new data sets, producing data maturity assessments, data health scores and dataset‑level remediation plans.

    ·      Provide subject matter expertise on industry‑standard HR / Payroll data structures, naming conventions, and data quality expectations, ensuring alignment with relevant standards and best‑practice frameworks.

    ·      Assist in defining and implementing data quality rules and KPIs (e.g., completeness, accuracy, consistency) to support effective data governance across the program.

    ·      Support the establishment, stewardship and ongoing governance of master data for the HR / Payroll domain.

    ·      Contribute to the development and embedding of new data management processes, policies and practices within the business.

    ·      Facilitate the data workstream throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring data readiness and providing hands‑on support during testing, cutover, Go‑Live and post‑implementation activities.

    ·      Develop and manage delta catch‑up transaction processes to keep legacy and new HR / Payroll systems aligned between baseline data extraction and Go‑Live, ensuring completeness and accuracy of all in‑scope data elements.

    ·      Assist business and vendor teams to investigate and resolve data‑related issues that impact reporting, system behaviour or data quality in the new HR / Payroll solution.

    ·      Support change management efforts by helping to embed new data standards, ownership models and quality expectations into business operations.

    ·      Provide data expertise and assistance to other iVolve Projects as required.
