Duration: 8 Months assignment (contract)
Client Location: Toronto (Onsite: 7.25 hours/day between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday)

About the Engagement
Akkodis is seeking an Intermediate Project Manager/Leader to support the revitalization of the Agency Primary Care Clinical Leadership Table (OPCLT). This role involves working with senior leaders, regional agency partners, clinicians, and multiple stakeholder groups to coordinate project activities, develop project documentation, manage risks, and support strategic decision‑making within primary care sector.
Scope
Engage regularly with senior leaders, regional partners, clinicians, and internal/external stakeholders to gather updates, resolve issues, and maintain project momentum.
Lead documentation development (briefing notes, meeting materials, dashboards, communication plans) to support project reporting and stakeholder engagement.
Contribute strategic insight to identify priority workstreams and guide project direction in collaboration with executive clinical leadership.
Assignment Deliverables
Lead development of core project management artifacts: project charter, management plan, scope/WBS, schedule, stakeholder matrix, RACI, communications plan, RAID log, etc.
Collaborate with stakeholders to validate and finalize the project management approach and all PM artifacts.
Apply primary‑care sector knowledge to identify priority workstreams and strategic focus areas for OPCLT.
Expertise Required
Must Have:
5+ years coordinating and leading working groups, maintaining progress reports, managing risks, and updating action items.
5+ years supporting project/program managers in complex environments with internal & external stakeholders.
5+ years engaging diverse interest holder groups, including government leadership, regional colleagues, and primary care clinicians.
Knowledge of project management principles (goals, risk, scope, roles, planning, cost, quality).
Working knowledge of:
§ PHIPA 2004 (Ontario privacy legislation).
§ Ontario Health & Primary Care legislation (Primary Care Act 2025; Connecting Care Act 2019).
Nice to Have:
Understanding of AODA regulations and accessibility standards.
Experience monitoring project performance, resolving issues, and maintaining project effectiveness.
