    Position: Senior Business Analyst

    Duration: 1 Year assignment (contract)
    Client Location: Toronto (Onsite: 7.25 hours/day between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday)
    Engagement Model: Professional Services Engagement – B2B (Incorporated Entities Only)

    About the Engagement

    Akkodis is seeking a Senior Business Analyst with specialized expertise in Identity and Access Management (IAM), Single Sign‑On (SSO), and enterprise authentication/authorization frameworks. The consultant will lead business analysis activities for complex, public‑sector initiatives, ensuring secure, efficient, and compliant access management across enterprise systems. This role requires strong experience in IAM business requirements, stakeholder engagement, business process modelling, testing support, and collaboration with cybersecurity and vendor partners.


    Scope

    • Lead and conduct business analysis to assess business needs and document requirements that support enterprise IAM and SSO solutions.

    • Document, analyze, and improve enterprise IAM‑related processes, ensuring secure identity verification and access controls.

    • Apply re‑engineering concepts to recommend alternative and cost‑effective service delivery approaches.

    • Conduct business modeling, use case modeling, logical data modeling, and process/data flow modeling.


    Assignment Deliverables

    • Business requirements documents, functional specifications, and process maps

    • IAM‑related business cases, screen/UI design documentation, and architecture support artifacts

    • Requirements traceability matrices and performance measurement frameworks

    • Testing plans, test case clarification, and validation support.


    Expertise Required

    Must Have:

    • 7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, including work on complex enterprise projects.

    • Strong experience with Identity & Access Management (IAM) and Single Sign‑On (SSO) initiatives.

    • Ability to translate business needs into clear business and functional requirements, including data and process documentation.

    • Expertise with business analysis tools and techniques (process mapping, business modelling, use cases, data flows).

    • Demonstrated experience preparing Business Cases, UI/Screen Designs, process flows, and architecture‑support documentation.

    • Hands‑on experience developing testing plans, test cases, and supporting QA teams with requirement clarifications.

    Nice to Have:

    • Prior experience with Public Service organizations.

    • Experience participating in large‑scale digital identity, citizen access, authentication programs.
